Valiant telemarketing team at Business Exhibition

A team from Valiant Telemarketing recently took part in the local Business Exhibition at Discovery Court, Wallisdown, Bournemouth.

Visitors learned about what makes a telemarketing campaign work, and talked to some of the telemarketers who attended on the day.

Launch of A New Local Telemarketing Business

Christchurch-based Valiant Telemarketing launches on Monday 25 th April 2005, a division of I-Marketing Services Ltd. This local service offers businesses in Dorset and Hampshire a cost-effective telemarketing service to contact prospective and/or existing business clients via its fully trained, managed and monitored operators.

For contacting prospective business clients, the range of services include renting targeted lists of contacts, appointment-making, mailshot follow-ups; other services include customer satisfaction surveys, database cleansing, benchmarking and event invitation/ confirmation. Screening against the Corporate Telephone Preference Service is also available and recommended.

Launch of New Telemarketing Service

A new Telemarketing service to be launched in late March is seeking to recruit lively and enthusiastic part-time team members who would like to work from home. Successful applicants will act as outgoing telephone marketers for its business-to-business services and live in or around the Christchurch area.

Valiant Telemarketing will undertake telephone calls to company managers and directors, which will enable businesses to increase their level of contact with current and potential customers without taking up valuable resources in-house. It has been set up in response to demand from local organisations who require telephone research, invitations to events and customer care calls as well as appointment making. The company is based in Christchurch and will recruit locally, but will welcome work from businesses throughout the country.

The culture of the organisation includes social aims, such as providing work and training opportunities for stay-at-home carers or the physically challenged, and encouraging self esteem and financial well-being among its employees. It has also pledged to donate 10% of its first three months' profits to help towards the running costs of the not-for-profit savings group Salmon Credit Union, and to encourage team members to save some of their earnings with the group.

Managing Director and Salmon member Dianne Edgar, is a qualified marketing trainer and provider of telemarketing services, and has experience of setting up a similar company elsewhere. She says;

" There is a tremendous resource of capable and talented people who don't currently work outside the home. Valiant will provide them with flexible hours, full training and regular support so that they can enjoy challenging work, continued self-development and some financial independence".

Team members will be self-employed but the welfare of the operators and good standards of training are high on the list of priorities for the company. In addition to training and support, they will be invited to attend events on a quarterly basis, which will provide an opportunity for social interaction with people outside the home environment.
